Preface

This is a fanlisting for the poetic style known as Imagism or imagism. Imagism, a poetic stressing concrete description and the importance of the immediate, visible world, derives from several cultures outside the Latinate/Romantic tradition. In English poetry it is associated particularly with an early phase in twentieth-century modernism. For further information and some sample poems, please see the about page.

A fanlisting is a gathering of Internet users from all over the world who share enthusiasm for a subject. All fans of imagistic poetry, or of the movement associated with it, are invited to add their names.
